How to record ASP.net MVC web application

Hello,

I am using Load runner 12.5. Application is built in ASP.net MVC. This is a web application. I am very new to load runner. I have a web form on the application. Load runner does not record the elments of the webform. I tried Web HTTP protocol.

Can you please provide me the settings / config/ protocols that I should be using before recording? I have tried so many different options. I could not fix it.

Thanks.

Re: How to record ASP.net MVC web application

Hi qtp24,

If you aim to record your web elements from Web UI and then replay them to verify the performence/load, you can try "TruClient Web" protocol, which allows you to directly recognize web elements by simple clicking/typing/draging..., and then replay your script in real browser instance, it supoorts IE/Firefox/Chromium browsers.

Read more from http://tchelp.saas.hpe.com/en/12.53/Content/TruClient/_tc_c_truclient_overview.htm

Thanks,

Penn
