I want to upload multiple files (Say 5 Excel sheets) in my application.
If i try this with truclient (12.02) it alwas says as "C:\fakepath\1.xlsx, C:\fakepath\2.xlsx, C:\fakepath\3.xlsx, C:\fakepath\4.xlsx, C:\fakepath\5.xlsx, C:\fakepath\6.xlsx"
How to proceed further
You need to change fakepath to the real path where the files are located and have a separate Set File <Path> step.
TruClient does not support record/replay of upload files in one step. You have to do it in a step per file.
Please check this Webinar for more deails. Few minutes of it cover upload file tips and treicks
I want to upload multiple files at once in my application and i want to record it through TruClient. When i try to do this it always considers last file with correct path (C:\KHB\Test\5.xlsx) else it takes all files and give path as C:\Fakepath\1.xlsx,2.xlsx etc....
Uploading multiple files at once is alimitation in TruClient. Is that true?
Do we have any workaround for this or it is not possible.
Was the multiple file upload limitation addressed in 12.53 Patch4? If not is there a work around apart from the multiple/bacttoback 'Set files' example you gave during the webinar. We have an application that allows to drop/select 10 files at once and kicks in the upload process right away.
I also have this problem
This video have been deleted, do you have other resource to solve the problem, Thanks
