Issue while replaying TruClient script in IE browser develop script mode

Hi All,

I had developed and replyed a TruClient script in multiple browsers but when i tried to replay the script in IE browser with develop script mode, its not replaying.

The script opens in IE browser and when I try to run the script no activity happens but the same script runs fine end to end in firefox/chromium browser.

Note: 1) This TruClient script was being successfully replayed in IE browser multiple times.

2) The similar issue happens for any new TruClient recorded.

Let me know if anyone faced this issue and what was being done to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Bibhu Panda.

Re: Issue while replaying TruClient script in IE browser develop script mode

Hi,

Did you experience any disconnection issue from VuGen? Is there any dialog opened in VuGen?

Do you see any error in the browser console?

Can you play individual steps in the script one by one?

Regards,

Shlomi

Re: Issue while replaying TruClient script in IE browser develop script mode

Hi Shlomi,

There was a certificate issue with IE browser for the customer application, once that certificate was installed the steps from develop script window worked as recorded.

Below was what I debugged into:

Issue: The develop script window with steps gets loaded in IE browser but when I try to launch the apllication (which is my first step) no activity happens.

Workaround Solution: After some 1 or 2 minute interval I get a pop-up saying "Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed" with Yes/No/View Certificate options.

After installing the certificate, I ran again the script from beginning and it worked. Strange thing here to note is I got this certificate issue after the script was created and replayed many times previously.

Thanks,

Bibhu Panda.
