LR 12.55 Assertion Failed - trap_manager.cpp

Hi, I'm trying to record an in house application but as soon as I press record I get the Microsoft Visual C++ error Assertion failed. I've tried Wininet only without any success.

See attached for screenshot, I'd be very grateful for any suggestions/ideas.

Thanks

Re: LR 12.55 Assertion Failed - trap_manager.cpp

Hi Mike,

It is hard to tell from this info alone.
Can you try recording using Chrome or Firefox?
Can you try recording using the proxy recorder? The proxy recorder is less intrusive.

Shlomi

Re: LR 12.55 Assertion Failed - trap_manager.cpp

Hi,

I am getting the same issue. Assertion failed error. This issue was not there when i was using LoadRunner 12.55 with Windows 7. Just last week my laptop OS got migrated to Windows 10 and after that I am getting this issue. Today i installed 12.60 and still the same assertion failed issue persists. I am unable to record anything.

Can anyone help me here?

Regards,

Sindhu

Did you validate your browser version with the supported versions of LR 12.60?

Is it still possible to use a 32-bit browser version with W10? Try to record with that browser.

I got the same.  Disable the User Experience Virtualization service and it should go away...
