LR Controller multi users with one script

Hi!

I run multiple vusers in LR Controller with one script. I need to use prepared login + password in VuGen script for each of them.

For example:

* my_login543 / my_password234 for vuser1

* my_login396 / my_password175 for vuser2.

How can I pass data (logins / passwords for vusers) from LR Controller to script?

Re: LR Controller multi users with one script

I would look at utilizing VTS functionality. This allows you to put values into a virtual table. As your VUsers execute you can retrieve the userid/password from the virtual table. You can pop off the top values (providing uniqueness) and or add the values back to the bottom of the column. There are a variety of VTS commands that can provide the fucntionality you are probably looking for.

Re: LR Controller multi users with one script

You can utilize VTS, but when user/pw is static you might also use two parameters {username} and {password} and read them from the same table (see here).

Use as selecting policy for the {username} 'Select next row': Unique and 'Update value on': Once. The policy for {password} see the link above.

Now each user will get a different value pair of {username}/{password}.
