(LR) Support Tip: Correlation Rule not capturing long values

Known issue when dynamic long values are not being captured by the correlation rule:

The value that needs to be correlated is not being captured by the correlation rule even when it is well done and has been tested.

This might happen because value is bigger that expected by the default configuration 4096.

Max param len value for correlation rules must be increased. For this you need to follow steps below:

  1. Go to <LoadRunner installation folder>\config
  2. Open CorrelationSettings.xml
  3. Look for MaxParamLen
  4. Increase the default value, 4096, to a bigger value, like 25000.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Restart Vugen.
