LoadRunner 12.02 - TruClient IE Recording Issue

Hi All,

 

I'm getting the below error when attempted to record TruClient IE script using LoadRunner 12.02.

 

"VuGen could not start TruClient browser to enable you to develop your script"

 

I have applied 12.01 and 12.02 patches.

 

Do i need any other patches?

Hi,

 

Try one or more of the following

 

1. Make sure you have IE9 or higher installed on the machine

 

2. Make sure the logged on user has read access rights from the registry from this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer and check again

 

3. Try to run VuGen as administrator and see it it helps

 

4. If you work on a server machine make sure IE Enhanced Security is disabled

 

Update on the above and we will take it from there

Hi Shlomi,

 

Many thanks for your reply. Issue is now resolved by adding the TruClient Browser process to the exceptions list in the Windows Frewall.

I am having the same issue.

Can you let me know the steps how to add the TruClient Browser process to the exception list in the Firewall.

Hi Guys, Please start VuGen with "Run as Administrator". After using this, my recording is working fine without any error.
