Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

Hi,

From yesterday, I am facing an issue with the LR 11. While trying to replay back the script, I am getting a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error with abnormal program termination. I know its not the problem with the script because I have replayed the same script before without errors. I even tried to uninstall LR 11 and install it again. But it did not helped. Can someone help me please. I am in a fix and its very urgent for me to resolve this. I am attaching the screenshot of the error.

Thanks in advance,

Sid

Re: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

We would need additional details. Such as version of Windows, patch level for LoadRunner 11. If you have anti virus enabled when you reinstalled and disabled Data Execution Prevention.

Let us know.

Re: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

The version of windows is Windows XP Professional. As far as I know, no patches have been installed for Load Runner 11. I did not felt the need for the patches as this was working for quite sometime without any issues.

I don't know about the Data Execution Prevention.

Re: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

For DEP you can check this by going to Control Panel->System->Advanced->Perfomance Settings->Data Execution Prevention. Check that the option for "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services". If it is not check you will need to restart the machine.

Check also if you have an AntiVirus enabled.

If you also have custom code on the script this may be the cause for this and may way to try to remove it for the time being.

Mario M.
