Missing details after script is recorded

Hi,

I have a scenario where in my selection gets disappeared from the script.

  1. First - I select a country in the application down combo box.
  2. Second - I search for a product.
  3. Third - I add the product to my shopping cart.
  4. Fourth - I wanted to check the cart details, but the country selection from the first line item goes missing.

All these steps were recorded in LR11 with HTTP/HTML protocol.  While executing the script the last step, country details, was missing in the script.  Hard coded the script with country details, even then the script would not work.

Though manually if I do the same 4 steps on the site it works fine.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

V

can you check if you are missing other correlation on that request....make sure of you are hitting previous URL right in the script...

not sure how you going to use it.......but can you parameterize the country as it is drop down so all values are certain.....with users.
again......not sure how you going to use it.......maybe hardcord
name: country..value ={parameter} something like that

Usually developers will assign unique ID's numbers for the values which is available in the drop down's. Just check in your case if any such values available. You can find that in Generation log. If so, find out the correspondent ID value instead of Country name.
