Mutilating text in TruClient

We are using TruClient to migrate data from files into our newly built system.

A part of these files contains text blocks. Special characters  like  ë,é,ü  etc.  are changed when using TruClient into

system like code.

How can we prevent this kind of behavior?

Re: Mutilating text in TruClient

Hi,

Can you please describe  which steps do you have in the TruClient script?

Do you need to write the migrated data to a file? If so did you try changing the default characterset in this functionhttp://tchelp.saas.hpe.com/en/12.53/Content/TruClient/reference/functions.htm#IO.write(path,_string,_append,_charset)

Thanks,

Shlomi
