Need help on Correlation for Browser created IDs

Hello All,

I am trying to run an application in loadrunner and am getting few challenges.

During recording of the application, a token(MarketingVisitorId) from Adobe is being captured from the browser side for eg :  7C34193440978818164249054820961214853167 highlighted in the below cookie. This is getting generated different for each time and it is being used to determine the response along with other parameters.

    web_add_cookie("AMCV_E41E7DBD59955C940A495CFD%40AdobeOrg=1406116232%7CMCIDTS%7C17563%7CMCMID%7C34193440978818164249054820961214853167%7CMCAID%7CNONE%7CMCOPTOUT-1517387034s%7CNONE%7CvVersion%7C2.5.0%7CMCAAMLH-1517984634%7C8%7CMCAAMB-1517984634%7Cj8Odv6LonN4r3an7LhD3WZrU1bUpAkFkkiY1ncBR96t2PTI%7CMCSYNCSOP%7C411-17570; DOMAIN=xxx.com.au");

I am trying to correlate that ID(7C34193440978818164249054820961214853167), but I am not able to get it from the response.

Also I tried to check the code level from developer tools, and I observed that the below url used this method getMarketingCloudVisitorID(), to generate that ID.

URL :  https://tags.tiqcdn.com/utag/agl/main/dev/utag.js

I am trying to implement that to extract that ID using the Javascript below, but it’s not fetching the values. Can anyone help on this please. Is there any other way to do this. Please suggest.

web_set_max_html_param_len("4000");

web_reg_save_param("js_url_body",

      "LB=",

      "RB=",

      "Search=body",

      "RelFrameId=1",

      LAST);

web_url("js_url",

      "URL=https://tags.tiqcdn.com/utag/xxxxxx/main/dev/utag.js",

      "TargetFrame=",

      "Resource=0",

      "RecContentType=text/html",

      "Referer=",

      "Snapshot=t1.inf",

      "Mode=HTML",

      LAST);

web_js_run("Code=eval(LR.getParam('js_url_body'));",

                LAST);

Hi,

Per your description, the ID is generated using a method from your application, not a response from server so it is client side value, not client/server communication.

For this situation,  you need to write your own code to Vugen script to generate that ID and this action requires deep knowleadge about your application and programming.

We has the special team – PSO (Professional Services Organization) to assist customer on these situations but it is paid service so please contact your Sale representative if you want to contact this team.
