Oracle NCA Protocol: Challenges in recording "jnlp" URL, generates Object IDs NOT Object Names

Hi,

We have an Oracle Forms application and recently it got upgraded to 11.5 version. In the latest version, we have to use URL that ends with "jnlp" and challenge recording the URL is, every Object gets IDs recorded and handling them is not a known concept for us. In previous versions, admin use to supply us "index.html?record=names" hence every object would have its associated Name recorded in the script.
Q: Do you have any known solution of recording URL "https://<<hostname>>/<<contextURL>>/<<>>.jnlp?record=names" would record only Object Names?.

Java Version: 1.8.0_92

LR version: 12.50

Mutli-protocol: Oracle NCA, Web(Http/HTML)

My current status: facing challenge while recording with URL mentioned above, there are few error prompts due to which not able to record Oracle forms traffic.
Please help me here, as it is a showstopper for us.

Thanks

Sharath

Re: Oracle NCA Protocol: Challenges in recording "jnlp" URL, generates Object IDs NOT Obje

Hi Sharath,

Please refer the below link, the document is quite old and the screenshot inside is for old version of Oracle but you can find the silimlar setting in your current Oracle version.

One more thing, please kindly note that only from the latest version LR 12.53 it supports Java 1.8.

LR 12.50 does not support Java 1.8.
