Oracle NCA Protocol Permission denied error

Hi,

I am facing isuue with Oracle NCA protocol while replaying the script in Vugen with 1 user.(Version 12.53)

I am getting below message -

Action.c(147): Error: nca_button_set("102") failed, Object class cannot perform this operation.
The window currently in focus: "Forms".
The last popup/alert message received: "Forms - Permission denied, Username or Password Incorrect"

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Oracle NCA Protocol Permission denied error

This error could be a result of several reasons (object id changed, application behaved differently, you are using a value already entered etc.). To determine what is the cause you need to compare the replay log in advanced trace to the nca_record.log.

In general the recommendation is to use names and not ID.

Re: Oracle NCA Protocol Permission denied error

Hi h2o_2,

While going through the code generation log i found this error  -

<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>10g Opener</TITLE></HEAD>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE='JavaScript'>

function handleError(message, URL, lineNumber )
{
<!-- window.alert ('Error ' + message + '\n' + ' at line ' + lineNumber + '.\n'); -->
document.write('<h2>The ISIS session you requested could not be launched because ');
document.write('you have a popup blocker turned on.<br>&nbsp;<br>');
document.write('Click <A href="how_to_disable_common_pop_up_blockers.htm">here</A> for Pop-up Blocker Help</h2>');
return true
}
window.onerror = handleError

I think this maybe the cause of the above error.

If you have any idea plz help me resolving this issue.

Thanks.
