Protocol for Web/Ajax with Java Applet

Hi Everyone,

I am having difficulty in recording a web application that is calling a java applet for an enrollment process. I have tried TruClient Web but it does not capture the user actions performed in the applet.

I have also tried Ajax Click & Script but my VuGen 12.50 frozed up while in record mode. I managed to capture some objects but not enough to replay the script successfully.

Hope you can shed some light into this.

Thank you.

Re: Protocol for Web/Ajax with Java Applet

Hi

Have you tried Java over HTTP? it may be the solution for your project.

Thanks,

Lior

Re: Protocol for Web/Ajax with Java Applet

Hi AvniLior,

Appreciate your response on this.

Actually I have also tried Java over HTTP but in the mappings and filters settings, only socket level is enabled, you cannot use WinInet for HTTPS applications.

Unless you have a way to make it work on socket level data?

Thank you!
