Server shut connection during attempt to negotiate SSL session

Hi I am getting this error.My application doesn't use SSL but TLS version 1.2.In the Port Mapping Option-> I selected Socket Layer Data and TLS 1.2.Is it correct or I need to use WinInet.Can you throw some light why I am getting this error.

The application is using certificates.Installed certificates too in I.E browser.

Re: Server shut connection during attempt to negotiate SSL session

Hello Rupanjana,

You can try below steps,

  1. Limit the number of connections open from the client to the server by using, web_set_sockets_option("MAX_CONNECTIONS_PER_HOST","1");
  2. web_set_sockets_option("SSL_VERSION", "TLS1.2");
    This forces the connection to the server to a particular protocol rather than letting the server suggest one during the connection handshake.
  3. If none of the above helps, then use the WinInet Replay engine. To do so, go to Run-Time Settings -> Preferences -> Select "WinInet Replay Engine instead of Sockets (Windows Only)."

If this resolves your issue give Kudos & accept as solution.
