Setting Exceptions in Run time settings

Hi all,

I have a flow where the first half takes the proxy settigs in system say 20.***.***.*** ,

and the second half has a login Id password to be entered and it takes a different settings like *.che.com.

LoadRunner captures the first flow only and gives cannot display webpage error in second flow. Let me know how to deal with this.

Have given 20.***.*** in use custom proxy setting in LR, and in exceptions gave the *.che.com

Re: Setting Exceptions in Run time settings

Hi

You can manually set the proxy to use in the script by using web_set_proxy()

See doc: http://lrhelp.saas.hpe.com/en/12.53/help/function_reference/FuncRef.htm#web/examples/lrFuncRef_WVF_w_st_prxy_Example.htm

Re: Setting Exceptions in Run time settings

Hi

When it comes to recording, you need to change the settings in internet explorer as usual.

Out of my head it is something like Internet options -> Connections -> LAN settings  and then Click on Advanced and enter the Exceptions in the bottom .

Re: Setting Exceptions in Run time settings

Nothing is recorded when I donot select the option(use the loadrunner proxy to record a local application). This option by default removes all my IE advanced settings
