TC Internet Explorer version compatibility - Performance Center 12.01

IE version sometimes creates problems.

We face with necesity to test applications (creation of the script) with a specific version of IE.

Nevertheless we cannot change version of IE on LGs (a lot of machines) anytime we have a new request.

What is the best solution in this case? Does the IE version on LGs matters?

Hello MichalS,

If you record the script on a specifi IE version, and you have another version of browser on your LG, what you can do is to simulate a different IE browser on your script.

On VuGen, there is an option which allows you to select the browser emulation.

On Runtime Settings >> Browser >> Browser Emulation.

Please refer to the screenshot attached

Hope this helps

In general, I don't think any TC functionality works with IE prior to version 9?
