Truclient browser issue

I am unable to work on truclient scripts using chrome or IE. When choosing to develop script a browser window appears with the following text:

This site can’t be reached

The webpage at http://0.0.0.0/tc_home.html?-script_id=2955276&-server_url=http://127.0.0.1:8080/&-out_dir=E:%5CeClass%5CC&I%20Tool%20Usage%5CLoadRunner%5CScripts%5CTruClient1&-usr_dir=E:%5CeClass%5CC&I%20Tool%20Usage%5CLoadRunner%5CScripts%5CTruClient1&-file=E:%5CeClass%5CC&I%20Tool%20Usage%5CLoadRunner%5CScripts%5CTruClient1%5Cmdrv_cmd.txt&-usage_analytics=False&-usage_analytics_guid=42650cd1-1b64-42dd-a3f0-952... might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

I am unable to locate the tc_home.html referenced in the URL.

The window showing this error disappears and a new one appears, but it is unuseable. I can't record with it and
the action drop down does not display:

I have uninstalled and reinstalled loadrunner. I'm currently using 12.57. Chrome version 67. I attempted to upgrade to 12.60 on my controller but the upgrade deleted the license info. I have not gone back to look at that any more. I am unable to locate the tc_home.html referenced in the URL.

Hi Cadauto,

I never see this error before, but can I ask you to do a simple test? Specify https instead of http and tell me if this can fix the problem.

On the net, I've tried this simple solution about a similar issue, have you ever watch it?

Tell me something,

Lorenzo

Thank you for you reply. The thing I'm not the one specifying the URL. That's coming from elsewhere when the icon to develop the script is clicked. In speaking with someone who has worked with this a long time, and has also been in a support role for LR, this screen has always come up, usually too fast for anyone to notice it's there. I don't remember ever seeing it.

The biggest issue is the missing drop down with the actions. With version 5.7 if one chose to use firefox for development there was no issue, but the issue was/is there with IE, Chrome, and LR's TruClient browser.

I upgraded to version 6.1. I ran the installations for 6.0 and 6.1 from an administrator account on the PC and also selected to run as administrator. In this scenario all is good for IE, but not Chrome or TruClient browser. Firefox does not show up for me as an option.

Hi @rpachamuthu,

1. For which URL do you get "site cannot be reached" error? The "http://0.0.0.0/tc_home.html?..." URL? Or other URL?

2. Is "Simulate a new user for each iteration" in General section in Replay tab in Runtime Settings enabled (checked)?
