Truclient protocol :- error while replay

Hi Team,

We have created script in trueclient protocol. when specific word is not found we are getting attached error which is not necessary.

Can we disable the same.

 

Please suggest.

Hello Aarya,

Regarding your concern, if the search of that text is not necessary, you can omit that step (disabling), otherwise, you would need to use another xpath method in order to avoid this error.

Can you please give more information on how to set xpath for this. attaching spanshot from Vugen.

We need to check this word so we cannot deisable the same.

Hi,

In order to avoid this error you can do one of two options

1. Disable "Snapshot on Error". This can be done from "Run Time Settings > Other tab. You should select not to generate snapshots at all

2. Get a patch from HPE support. This is a known issue that was fixed in later versions (e.g. 12.50) and formal patch on top of 12.02/12.20. You should also make sure your System user %TEMP% environment variable is not pointing at C:\Windows\Temp. Change it to C:\Temp
