Unable to access Test data in put CSV file from Performance Center

Hi All,

I have parameterized test input data from CSV file and kept in C folder.

Scrpit runs in VuGen and Controller (LG is local machine).

Kept the same file in LGs same location as of Local Machine.

But the same script won't run in Performamce Center, getting the below error.

Error Code : -13887

Error : The translation of the path to table 'C:\LR Scripts\Test_Data.csv' failed.

Re: Unable to access Test data in put CSV file from Performance Center

Hi,

When the script runs from Performance Center it is running on a different Load Generator (machine) which probably does not have the csv file the script requires.

In order to overcome that I suggest including the csv file in the script and ensuring it is located in the script folder, then in the script instead of refering to C:\LR Scripts\Test_Data.csv you can refer to .\Test_Data.csv

UsingExternalFiles.png

Alternatively you can locate this csv file in a network drive which is accessible frrom both the VuGen and Load Generator machines or simply manually copy the file to the Load Generator and create the same path on the Load Generator as well.

The first option is the preferred approach IMO

Good luck
