Vugen 11.50 Installation on Windows Servers 2016

Hi Experts!
The company I work for is still working with the Tuxedo/Power Builder Protocol.

The latest version that can handle this protocol is 11.50/52 (please correct me if I wrong).
So for a legacy apps, we are using 11.50 and new apps we are using 12.xx.

At this point, we are moving to Windows Server 2016.

Questions:
If someone knows that Vugen 11.50 can work on Windows Server 2016?

If 12.62 can work with Performance center 12.02?

Thanks in Advance!

Re: Vugen 11.50 Installation on Windows Servers 2016

Hi

It's not tested and probably will not works well.

even LR 11.50 doesn't work well with Win10 sp1 .

LR 11.50 recommended with Win 7 .

From 12.6XX we recommend on win 10 .

It's better to save 1 image with win 7 for LR 11.50

Hi Oren, @gavriel1

Thanks for the response!

It is actually working, just needs to adjust Wind Server OS.

Spent a lot of time on that, will be happy to help if someone stuck 🙂

Re: Vugen 11.50 Installation on Windows Servers 2016

Hello,

Version 11.50/11.52 is no longer supported.

Scripts created in VuGen 12.50,12.53, 12.55, 12.56, 12.57, 12.60, 12.61, 12.62 or the latest 12.63 WILL NOT work properly in Performance Center 12.20 !

you can use old scripts in new PC environments but not new scripts Created in VuGen higher than PC version) in old PC environment

Best to upgrade everything to Performance Center 12.63
