Vugen RTE vuser - Getting Communication with debugger lost

Hello,

I am trying to replay a Vugen RTE script and i am getting the error - Communication with debugger lost, the Uttstandalone debugger is giving a problem. Hope somebody can shed some light.

Oren, many thanks, I figured it out, the script needed some other libraries. hence it was failing. Many thanks for your help.

Hello

Could you give us more details :


1) Which LR version do you use ?
2) Which OS do you use ?
3) When you replay an empty script, Does it works ?
4) When you replay the same script on Controller, even with 1 user does it works fine ?

Hello Gavriel1, 

Please find the answers below.

1) Which LR version do you use ? 

12.60
2) Which OS do you use ? 

Windows 10 64bit
3) When you replay an empty script, Does it works ?

Yes
4) When you replay the same script on Controller, even with 1 user does it works fine ?

I did not try that, I first need to execute in Vugen to see it working.

 

Would you have any suggestions please?, I turned off the User Account Control(UAC). I get this exception when i check the details - System.servicemodel.communicationobjectfaultedexception.

I have attached the Error Snapshot, it basically has to do with the UttStandalone debugger.

Could you replay the script with F10 , ( step by step mode )
and see on which line the script failed ?

if you got any error at output log , please send us a screenshot

Oren, not much shows up in the output file. But a pop up comes up after it hits a certain point in the script where it is opening an connection to our server.It is kind of a service call with the RTE script and then at that point the UTTStandalone debugger hangs and in the previous message I have attached the screen shot what happens next. Please let me know what comes to your mind.

1) Do you have admin permission?
     if not, please try to run VuGen as admin.

2) Please try also to replay the same script on the Controller with 1 user.

     I want to see if you succeed or the replay "crash" again. 

    if replay crash, maybe there is an issue with the connection.

 (any security issue , permission etc ... )

Hi Oren,

 

I did try to run Vugen as an Administrator and I do get the same error. I ran it for 1 user in controller and got - "Error... Abnormal termination caused my mdrv process termination."

Do you think I would need a particular ".pts" configuration,? But I don't think the controller uses the ".pts" file, so as you said, even I am assuming that there is some problem in opening a connection.

Please let me know if anything comes to your mind.
