Vugen is not Recording the Events

Hi Guys,

 

Earlier I used to get "Load Runner has Stopped working"  issue once  stopped the recording.

 

My boss  has made some changes to fix this issue.   "Load Runner has Stopped working" issue was  gone, but  now I  am facing new issue  which is Vugen is not recording the events.

 

Kindly please advise me!

This was resolved with HP Technical support.

Please give more information:

 

OS, VuGen version, protocol you used, logs, etc..

 

And what kind of change did your boss made?

 

That will help us to find the answer.

Hi  Pathan,

 

I don't know what changes he made, and he also for got.

 

Just give me the steps to enable recording the events regardless of my 1st issue, I will try that way.

Imagine I have only not recording events issue.

Hi  Guys,

 

 

If I use Web(Http/Html) protocol, I am able to record the events.

Where as, If I use FLEX + Web(Http/Html) protocol , events are not recording.

 

Please advise me!

Hi Pathan,

 

OS: Windows Server 20028 R2 Standard

Protocol : FLEX + Web(Http/Html)

 

I verified with my boss, he just unchecked the corrleation.

 

I tried by performing the below steps, I found this in this forum .

 

A. HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Mercury Interactive>LoadRunner>Protocols>HTTPAnalyzer
AddNoCacheHeaderToHtml=0 (default is 1)

B.  Set Port Mapping under Recording Options:

 

Start a new recording from “New Multiple Protocol Script” and select SAP-Web only.

From Recording Options select, "Port Mapping" under "Network"

Select “Socket level data” and create a new entry (this must be the ONLY one) as follows:

Click on "New Entry"

Set "Target Server" to "(Any Server)"

Set "Port" to "(Any)"

Set "Service ID" to "(Auto Detect)"

Set "Record Type" to "Direct"

 

They said the below also, but I haven't  tried this.

C. Enable the Direct trapping option:

 

Create and set these registry key entries in the system Vugen is installed:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mercury Interactive\LoadRunner\Protocols\WPlus\Analyzer]
"EnableWSPDebugging"=dword:00000001

"ShowWSPDirectTrapOption"=dword:00000001

"EnableWSPDirectTrapping"=dword:00000001

 

Please advise me!

I'm having the same issue with LoadRunner 12.55. What did you do to fix this issue?

Facing the same issue. Events are not recording though the event number keeps increasing while recording. Finally there is nothing being recorded in Action tab. 

Vugen 12.53 version

Protocol used- Web(HTTP/HTML)

I had the same issue.  Upgraded to VuGen 12.60 and data started recording again.
