Why is the controller of Load Runner trial version not working?

Hii Myself Suchitra.

Microfocus gives an option for trial version for around 60 days whcih is a good sign. But the controller of load runner is not at all getting loaded. It opens as if it is gonna work fine, but later it asks for license.

May I know whether we can use the controller in trial version. If so, Do I have to make some configuration changes in system. Virtual user generator and the analyser are working fine.

kindly revert with a solution for the problem.

Regards,

Suchitra.

Hi,

From the licensing tool you can request a trial license for running 50 Vusers. Please use that option.

Re: Why is the controller of Load Runner trial version not working?

What version of LaodRuner are you using?

LoadRunner 12.xx  includes a community bundle license, limited in use for the purpose of test development and proof-of-concept execution. This community bundle includes all protocols except for COM/DCOM, and GUI Virtual Users. The community bundle is provided without support or warranty of any kind, and commercial use is strictly prohibited.

This Community includes 50 Vusers that are good for all Protocols except COM/DCOM and GUI. The community license does not expire.

Note:

For LR 12.60 you must sign-up for the Community Licnese to get the key code emailed to you
