Win socket script throwing error while running from Performance Center

Hello,

I'm working on desktop application ( it's a client server app ) and recorded a sample script using WIN Socket protocol with latest MICRO FOCUS 2020 VUgen limited freeware bundle download and also execute a sample test around and its all looks good so far.

But when I'm using the script and running from Performance Center, its throwing me the below error message and seeing timeout message and users going to error state, PFB.

Error occurred while trying call 3rd party license component. Error Message: 4002
vuser_init.c(14): Error : Timeout expired while trying to connect. Error code : 9017.

So, I'm curious to know, whether this is something to do with licensing of the user type or something else, just want to make sure, much appreciate, if someone can help on it.

Thanks,

Vasanth.

Re: Win socket script throwing error while running from Performance Center

Hello,

Generally, you cannot record/create scripts in a VuGen version that is newer than your product version.

Which version is your Performance Center?

In addition, do you have a valid license to execute WinSock scripts?
