Window size in TruClient playback under load is decreasing

Window size in TruClient playback under load is decreasing

LoadRunner 12.01, windows 7.

We have the "Non-interactive window size" set to 1280x1024 (screenshot attached) in VuGen, and the equivalent setting in the run-time settings in the controller but as per the screenshots we get when an error happens the width of the window has shrunk which means that the mobile/tablet version of the site is being displayed which means that the buttons we scripted for are no longer there.

How can we get this to work?

Re: Window size in TruClient playback under load is decreasing

Hi Brian,

If it's Truclient IE, Firefox or mobile protocol?

Does it work fine in interactive mode during replay?

Joe

Yep, it works fine in replay (though we manually resize the left TruClient pane).

Most recently we have seen this in the IE protocol, i can't find any instances of us needing to implement a workaround in firefox.

We don't test using the mobile protocol

I confirmed with the team here that the resizing does happen in firefox. Scripts are failing now due to it

Re: Window size in TruClient playback under load is decreasing

Hi,

Is the LoadRunner agent configured to run as a service or as a process?

If it is configured to run as a service please try running it as a process and see if the issue is gone, if it already runs as a process try adding resize browser window step in the script.

Shlomi
