WorkLoad Modelling for application with LoadRunner

Hi All,

If an application is recently developed and it needs to be performance tested before production, how to decide the number of users to be executed in Load test.

How do we conclude the other criteria like TPS, Think time and Pacing

Thanks in Advance

Re: WorkLoad Modelling for application with LoadRunner

Hi Madhu,

This is a theoretical question that your Functional Architect should answer.

it depends on what is the business model you are aiming for with this application, its target audience and many other factors which you won't get the answer for here.

ascertain what is your business process and from there, the answers will be derived.

hope this helps,

Lior

Re: WorkLoad Modelling for application with LoadRunner

Hi Madhu,

There is no standard, as every application is differnet.

Ascertain what you want to achieve with this application and you'll know what to test.

Thanks,

Lior
