can LR script run : application server is changed from AIX to Red Hat

Hi,

I have a query for LoadRunner script.

we created a script for the web application or any protocol, where the application server has AIX Operating System.

Now if the same application's server is moved to Red Hat Operating System, will the previous script work here?

Is there any such dependencies? or the script can run on any OS for that application ?

Need your expert advices.

Thanks.

Hi Milind J,

If the application interface and how it works are the same so the script will be fine. The OS of application will not impact to your script.

Hi Chau Nyugen,

Thanks for your quick response.
The application front end is same, i.e. web application and oracle forms application.
Can you guide about your comment of ‘ application interface and how it works’ ?

Regards,

Milind
