changing log runtime settings on the fly

I am running a script where I have a line that creates an error.  I can ignore this error and continue the script but I need this step because it is the only that gives me a correlated value to continue with.

I don't want to see this error in my log during runtime.  I don't want to be distracted by it and I want to investigate "real" errors when a running a scenario.

I tried using the following functions around this step with no success:

log_options = lr_get_debug_message();

            lr_set_debug_message(log_options, LR_SWITCH_OFF);

            lr_set_debug_message(LR_MSG_CLASS_DISABLE_LOG, LR_SWITCH_ON);

                lr_set_debug_message(LR_MSG_CLASS_DISABLE_LOG, LR_SWITCH_OFF);

                lr_set_debug_message(log_options, LR_SWITCH_ON);

Anyone out there with a solution to this issue?

Thanks,

Michal
