This is what is mentioned for solution:

Set the NCA time as follows:

  1. Close VuGen.
  2. Set the NCATimerWaitMode=0,1,2,3 in the default.cfg file in the script folder.
        You can set different values but at a time only ONE value.
        Default value is 0.
  3. Open VuGen and open script.
  4. Replay the script.
  5. At least one of the value should help and script should replay fine.

In Runtime Settings, try the following:

Oracle NCA ---> Client Emulation --> Uncheck “Enable heartbeat” --> This is a good practice.

Thansk That helps, but curious what is that issue and what was teh exact solution.

I also below is in my script, when tried to delete few nca_wait_for_timer (); script failed to identify next window, any help ???

Do we need to have the same # of nca_wait_for_timer (); , can't we replace only one with a  parametr in it ....

    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);
    nca_wait_for_timer(NCA_TIMER_NEAREST);

    /* Exit to Forms */
    nca_set_window("Expenditure Items");
    nca_menu_select_item("Expenditure Items", "File;Exit Oracle Applications");

    /* Click On OK */
    nca_set_window("Caution");
    nca_popup_message_press("Caution", "OK");
    /* Logout */
      web_reg_find("Text=Single Sign-Off",
        LAST);

    web_url("OALogout.jsp", .....................................
