HP LoadRunner

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade and/or install HP Load Runner as needed.

I am using the version 12.02

The batch file I am distributing through SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager 2007) is as follow:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HP_LoadRunner_12.02_Community_Edition_T7177-15059.exe /silent /force

if "%errorlevel%"=="0" cls &Echo Success.
if "%errorlevel%"=="1" cls &Echo Fail

exit 0

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it runs forever (over 2 hours for sure before it crashed for timing out!!!) and nothing seems happening!!!!!

The version pushed (HP_LoadRunner_12.02_Community_Edition_T7177-15059.exe) is 32 bits,  the client is 64 bits is it normal? is there a 64 bits version?

I was trying to run the installation manually and a BIG!!! prerequisite lists pops up even this machine was having HP Load Runner 10.0.0... were these prerequisites not requested before ?

Any clue?

Thanks,

Dom

Re: HP LoadRunner

Hello,

LoadRunner constantly evolves, in an effort to support the latest technologies. So it's not surprising that an upgrade, which skips several major releases, bring several new prerequisites. This is the expected behavior.

By the way, LoadRunner never had a 10.0 release, 9.5x was followed by 11.00. So, which version did you have prior to the upgrade?
