Recording using Truclient Web Protocol and Chromium (chrome)

Hi,

I want to record an application flow using truclient web protocol and Chrome browser. Application - SAP Fiori; Vugen used is 12.53; Chrome version 46.0.2490.80 (64-bit); System on which Vugen is installed is 64 bit

The problem I am facing is - When I click 'develop script' a chrom browser opens but, there are no recording options available.

Please help.

Hi

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing when pressing on the "develop script" button?

do you see the same behaviour in the other browsers as well?

Hi,

Please find the sanpshot attached.

For other browsers i.e. Internet Explorer and Firefox, I am able to see the developer options.

However, for chrome I cannot.

Hello Anamika,

Chrome version which your using is it a default set up of Vugen if not please specify the chrome browser in HP bin folder.

Reason why your getting that issue is when you open the chrome in bin folder manually it might upgrade to some new version of chrome and that version which will not support to Vugen (12.53)

Please check the supported version of chrome in Vugen (12.53) version.

Chromium 46 is the only support version for  LR/PC 12.53 truclient protocol

to check

 navigate to the loadrunner/bin/chrome folder then mouse over the chrome.exe to see the version  

 

if is not 46 then reinstall Loadrunner

Thanks for the solution.

I checked the version for chrome. It is 46 only. 

I tried upgrading Loadrunner to 12.55 version. But facing the same issue.

This is not the Chromium that should be opened with TruClient. it looks like Chrome browser.

I fear some mixup in your machine may have happend, not sure how.

would recommend uninstall and re-install to make sure all misconfiguraitons are removed.
