Hi everyone, and welcome to another edition of Micro Focus Bits & Bytes. Below you will find just some of the latest releases and advancements in our education offerings, enjoy.
This course covers how a tenant administrator will use Service Management Automation X (SMAX) to perform a variety of management tasks that range from data management, people management, to designing the applications and its workflows.
This course provides a broad look into the ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) solution. Through interactive demonstrations and simulations, learners will explore how to monitor security events, create filter and rules, and manage users and ESM resources. Through scenario-based examples learners will discover how to tailor standard ArcSight ESM content to acquire, search, and correlate actionable event data; and perform remedial activities such as incident analysis, stakeholder notification, and reporting security conditions within the network environment.
This three-day, instructor-led classroom offers technical personnel the opportunity to learn and experience how to use the Application Performance Management (APM) software. This course is designed for individuals who are responsible for the performance and availability aspects of mission-critical applications and for the configuration and administration of APM.
In this lesson, you will learn how to work with the looping and iteration operations and handle list operations. You will also learn how to perform certain basic administration tasks on OO Central.
This five-day course introduces students to the LoadRunner 12.6 application. The course covers topics about the Virtual User Generator (VuGen), Controller, and Analysis tools. This course is designed to give you a foundation in basic load testing tasks. You create and run load test scenarios using the Controller. The Analysis tool is used to analyze load test results, and you will learn to work with the graphs to display data after a test is executed. The hands-on labs are designed to provide you with the knowledge necessary to create scripts in VuGen, execute scenarios in the Controller, and view the results in the Analysis tool. The course consists of focused, task-oriented lectures, text, and a series of detailed hands-on labs to teach the course material to the student.
This lesson provides an understanding of the key functionalities of Network Node Manager i (NNMi), along with the SNMP and ICMP configuration to be performed to enable discovery of network devices using NNMi. You will learn to configure SNMP and ICMP protocol settings in NNMi to enable communication with network devices for status polling, device monitoring and performance data collection. You then discover network devices and populate the NNMi Inventory both using manual loading of nodes using Seed files, and auto-discovery of devices using the Spiral Discovery mechanism.
Participants in this training learn the skills that are required to implement, use, and maintain the Cloud Service Automation (CSA) product. This training is useful for those responsible for managing Hybrid Cloud deployment. Students should have experience with the Micro Focus Operations Orchestration (OO) product.
In this lesson, you will learn how to work with the Workflow Designer. You will also learn about the OO Self-Service X and RAS.
