How to connect Mobile Center with ReadyAPI ?

Jump to solution

Hi All,

Can someone please suggest:

How to connect 'Mobile Center' with  'ReadyAPI' ?

Note: Ready API is used to test web services mostly and this tool supports Groovy scrip.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

Unfortunitely, there is no existing practice for Ready APi & Mobile Center usage.

Is there any actual scenario for API testing when mobile device involved?

Hi Rex,

Thanks for your response.

Yes, even Mobile Center RnD team informed that as of now MC does not support Smartbear products including ReadyAPI.

FYI please: The use case that we were trying to automated was: We are doing API testing of one application – which triggers SMS/Text notification that need to be validated on the mobile device UI. As we are using ReadyAPI to do the API testing, we were trying to use the same for sms validation too.

I think you can consider using UFT for the API testing part. :)
