The certificate for this server is invalid...

I get this error on iOS.

Saying:
You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be
"server.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.

I guess I've missed something down the road. I did try to install my
internal CA on the device and from what I can tell it's there.

But maybe it's at the backend somthing is wrong configured?

Check to make sure that the SSL certificate uses the same DNS name that you are using to connect to the server from the iOS device. Try connecting from a Windows browser to the dashboard URL using the same DNS you are using in the console and it should tell you what the issue is.
