Enhancement for Seed Results

Enhancement for Seed Results

When a seed results in "node not created, duplicated seed" will be useful if NNM reports by default who it is Duplicated with within the seed results instead of aving to do the tracing ir order to analyze with which node was set as duplicate.

For finding which IP address was duplicated by the seed, you can use "find node" action in NNMi menu and search for the IP address that is shown up as a dupicate, it would show up the node that is hosting that IP address. If not, then lookup the DNS for that IP (which is duplicated) and search for that DNS, you should then be able to find the duplicate node.

Would this serve the purpose?

 Thank you Tapan

Customer suggestion is to have the node that is being seen as duplicate within the seed results output. We ran into an issue discovering a node due to the fact that even though its IP address was not within inventory its management addres was; and we determined that by checking the trace logs.

 Kind regards
