Low Thresholds in the NNMi iSPI for Traffic

The NNMi iSPI for Traffic allows to configure High Thresholds, to get an alarm for example when a given application exceeds a volume of traffic. But we have an application that must be generating traffic all the time, and if it does not, it is an important problem for us. We would like to be able to set Low Thresholds to detect that situation and alarm when that application had less than a few bytes/second of traffic in the last 5 minutes.
