Need to be able to clone enrichment payload filters via the GUI

Re: Need to be able to clone enrichment payload filters via the GUI - Status changed to: Needs Clarification

It's very time consuming to constantly have to recreate the same payload filter over and over again inside a single configuration for a trap or a management event. Is there any way that a filter can be created, then copied so that the next filter can simply be edited? This would be great for a single trap producing multiple severities and alarms with long filters.

Thanks

Dear Submitter,

We have multiple places where you can do filtering and apply policies. Can you please provide more details?

It would be great to have a command-line utility for doing this.

@AkashDeep I'm mainly talking about in Management Event and SNMP Trap Configurations. Let's say you have a single trap that creates several possible alarms. You create a payload filter for a minor alarm using several regex options. Rather than start over to create another filter for a major alarm using the same trap, it would be nice to copy the minor filter in the GUI and then change it to major.

Is it not possible to use nnmincidentcfgdump.ovpl / nnmincidentcfgload.ovpl for this use case?

That's all of the traps. You can't specify a specific trap. It's too complicated to manage. Why not create a payload filter copy option in the GUI? Then edit the filter and save? This could work for so many areas of NNMi.
