We would like to see the Web UI for Network Automation changed so that the left panel could be toggled between shown and hidden. This would allow the main working area of the Web UI to be a bit larger to view more data without having to scroll or change the scale as well as minimize the non-essential options that might be distracting.
Since the data found in the left column doesn't move (down) when the user scrolls down, there's a fair amount of time when nothing is shown on the left - if you are looking say at a long report or a device with a lot of task history and scrolling down, you'd need to scroll back up to access any of the links found on in the left column (Current Device Group, My Favorites, My Settings) so this is space that could be better used.
For example, to see the entire screen, we need to scale down to 80%. While this does make text much smaller, we can quickly click on the key links typically found in the upper right corner without needed to scroll.
If the left column was able to be hidden, this would allow us to be able to increase the scale to provide better readability and provide better focus of what we are working on (less distractions to the data shown) and would be improving the efficiency of the screen real estate.
Thank you for considering this idea.
