Restricting user groups to view devices in specific partitions

I’m trying to add user groups in partitions through user group csv file, I have created a partition already. I want to restrict the user to view the devices in specific partition only, for this I entered the name of that specific partition in view permissions column. When I upload the file the task fails and a log is generated that   (Permission role “partition name” is not defined.)

How can I restrict the user to view devices in specific partition only through user group csv import file?

Hi, have you created a User Role with the name you specified?  

So, you specifiy "Limited Access" for the role assigned to command permission, and then you specify a custom one for view permission, so based on the error, I'd guess that you haven't yet created it?  

If you go admin / user roles & permissions, do you see under role name your custom role and it is tied to View Partition Permissions (this would be under User Defined Roles).  

If you then try, would be curious if you get the error again?
