SSH Window

Jump to solution

Is there a way to increase the SSH window size (Connect => Via Proxy Using SSH). Some users find it a bit small to work on.

Thanx

Hi Abdullah,

Yes, starting with NA 9.10.02. Please find below the needed steps:

QCCR1B94740  - Provide a way to resize the proxy window

To enable alternate settings for the proxy window size, follow these steps:

1. Edit the appserver.rcx file as follows:

   a. Locate the "administration/User Interface/section_order" section.

   b. Before "Miscellaneous", add the following line:
        <value>Proxy Window</value>

2. Add the following text to the site_options.rcx file:

<!-- 500_600_12_80_24 = window size: height=500, width=600, font=12, column=80, row=24 -->
<option name="webui/proxy_window/config">500_600_12_80_24
  <title>Dimension of proxy window</title>
  <section>Proxy Window</section>
  <type>RadioButtons</type>
  <domain>500_600_12_80_24</domain>
  <number_500_600_12_80_24>Window size: 500 x 600, font: 12, column: 80, row: 24</number_500_600_12_80_24>
  <domain>600_700_13_90_28</domain>
  <number_600_700_13_90_28>Window size: 600 x 700, font: 13, column: 90, row: 28</number_600_700_13_90_28>
  <domain>700_800_14_100_32</domain>
  <number_700_800_14_100_32>Window size: 700 x 800, font: 14, column: 100, row: 32</number_700_800_14_100_32>
</option>

3. On the NA application server, clean out the cached files and browser cache by deleting all files in the following folders:

   * <NA_HOME>\server\ext\jboss\server\default\tmp
   * <NA_HOME>\server\ext\jboss\server\default\work\jboss.web

4. Restart the NA management engine.

5. Update the proxy window setting as follows:

   a. In the NA console, navigate to Admin > Administrative Settings > User Interface.

   b. Under Miscellaneous, set the Proxy Window setting to a different value.

   c. Verify the change by opening a new proxy window.

Traian

Dear Traian,
I'm running NA 9.20. From the instructions you've provided, I found that from Admin > Administrative Settings > User Interface, there is Proxy Window that gives me three window size options.

Thank you for the support.
