Collecting route analytics using NNMi

Dear All

Is it possible to collect route analytics using NNMi.

I know we can use RAMS, but when I checked the architecture, I found we need to install RAMS appliance in our network, which would not be accepted.

Is there any other alternative solutions.

Hello Ramesh

Hope you are doing great,

Please make reference to this link:

https://docs.microfocus.com/NNMi/10.30/Content/Administer/nmAdminHelp/nmAdmExtendNNMCap0400RAMS.htm

NNM does have a feature called NNMi Path View that may help you.

Re: Collecting route analytics using NNMi

Dear

If we have NNMi ultimate license, whether we are eligible to use RAMS, please clarify.

RAMS is deprecated.  End of Sales was 2013, End of Support was 2016.

Have a nice day 🙂

Re: Collecting route analytics using NNMi

Hi,

actually RAMs was OEM'ed by HP Software.  RAMS was licensed from Packet Design company(https://www.packetdesign.com/) and  they are still developing it under Route Explorer  name.

my 2 cents,
Gedas

As noted, Route Explorer is still available as are other tools like NetBrain, but neither are integrated with NOM.

Have a nice day 🙂
