Re: Connection test to database not completed: FATAL

Hello Mel

Thanks for posting,

Can you please check the postgres.log locate under the following path:

Windows: Drive:\ProgramData\HP\HP BTO Software\shared\nnm\databases\Postgres\pg_log

Linux: /var/opt/OV/shared/nnm/databases/Postgres/pg_log

We need to look for any error message or fatal in the postgres.log, also I will need to know if the servers are running, for this i need you to do the following:

  • Break the cluster (This action must be done in both servers):
    • Kill the nnmcluster process.
    • Go to the nnmcluster.properties file and comment the failover name line and the line where the nodes are included.
    • Start the services for both servers

Those steps is to verify if the server are able to start as stand alone, if one of them is corrupted please let me know.
