Custom Poller Event

Hi ,

Using NNMI 10.01 ,I built some custom polls and i am looking for a way to enumerate the values i get.

For example i can see in the mib i'm using that the oid have description.

oid -  .1.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.2.6.20.1.1.6

Shows status of software on the board:
(1)-notActive (Bypass for DPIC)
(2)-active
(3)-standBy
(4)-notApplicable

how can i display in the custom poller event the description and no the value ?

Thanks,

Mik

Re: Custom Poller Event

The event is some card status looking like this :

CustomPoller: Policy SGtera_Software_Status on ptk-sgtera, Collection SGTera_Software_Status, sgtera_soft_stat Measured: 1. Instance: 1

the idea is to enumerate the Measured into text and not a number

Re: Custom Poller Event

Hello,

can you post the custom incident attributes. Perhaps they contain .1.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.2.6.20.1.1.6. which you can use with $text in your messages to resolve the mib value.

Kind regards

Allessandro

Re: Custom Poller Event

Simple, go to Action tab of corresponding Management event, write new script and generate new alarm with mappings you require.
