Delete or update loaded attributes

Jump to solution

NNM 10.4x

We have loaded node CIA by name Owner to each device using nnmloadattributes.ovpl

We now need to either change or delete CIA by name Owner, is this possible using NNMi CLIs.

Hi Ramesh,

To load the attributes you probably used  nnmloadattributes.ovpl.  There is an equivalent script called   nnmdeleteattributes.ovpl script that does the reverse.  you provide the details in a csv and it will delete the attributes.  See the online help for details on the parameters.

nnmdeleteattributes.ovpl allows custom attributes to be deleted using a comma separated values (CSV) file, such as a .csv file from Microsoft™ Excel. This command is useful if you have previously created custom attributes that are no longer needed. This command will delete attributes from either nodes, interfaces, or phys comps. For nodes, once the attributes are deleted, any nodes in a node group formed by referencing those attributes will disappear from the node group.
