Deleted seed can't rediscover

Hello Team,

I have delete seed and node, Now I am unable to rediscover. When try to ran snmp walk. its working prefectly.

I have try do flushdns also,Still when I add the new seed SNMP is not working.

Try to add with another tenant and once discovered move tenant and Security group.

I tried this method and that didnt clear the duplicate seed.

Might be a cache issue.

Try following:

  • Restart NNM
  • Add the node as specific node(hostname or IP address(mgmt IP)) in SNMP configuration to force the SNMP communication.
  • Now add the seed and discover.

it is not necessary to restart NNM. you must do the following:
- delete the seed
- check that the host has not loaded into the inventory
- Clear the NNM cache memory using the following command:
/opt/OV/support/nnmtwiddle.ovpl invoke com.hp.nms.dnsejb: mbean = DNSSupport clearAllCaches
