Disable Management Mode for Level 2 Operators

Hi team!

I would like to disable the ability for level 2 operators to change the management mode.

I configured the item menu, so that only the administrator can change the management mode.
But either way, the level 2 operator is able to change the management mode using the Node Form.

Is there any way I can prevent the level 2 operator from modifying management mode?

Hi,

Only if your version is kind of 10.40, you may activate a variable which with a part of a special hotfix makes this control disabled. I have tested this on 2018.x and not works, so, if you need this, make this as a new Idea (I believe, some exists already)... If problem affects your production system, make this a support case, please, so we should qualify this as a defect and release a patch/fix.

com.hp.nnm.ui.level2EditNodeManagementMode = false

# /opt/OV/bin/nnmprops -l | grep level2
com.hp.nnm.ui.level2EditNodeManagementMode=false
com.hp.nnm.ui.level2NodeDelete=true
