Enable/Disable Rediscovery in NNMi 9.23

Hi all,

Customer wants to enable rediscovery over the weekend. Let's say Saturday and Sunday. Then disable it from Monday through Friday.

It looks like there is no way to do it from the NNMi console. IS there a way to do it from the command line?

Currently, there is no supported way to disable rediscovery of managed nodes. The intent is for NNMi to stay up-to-date on the configuration of managed nodes, and that is why the rediscovery is needed.

As a workaround the rediscovery interval can be set very large (99 days is the supported maximum), but other situations can cause a node to be rediscovered sooner, such as a nnmconfigpoll.ovpl request, or the statepoller can sometimes determine that a device configuration is out of date and request such a rediscovery. If a user sets rediscovery interval to 5 days on Monday, it should decrease the number of rediscovery cycles significantly over work days. On Friday night or Saturday morning the interval can be changed back to 24h or even less if needed. This will allow one-two cycles of rediscovery over weekend.
