Flapping alarms in NNMi

Hello All

We had configured F5 load balancer device in our environment. Device is generating lot of flapping alarms.

For example it sends bigipServiceDown trap and in another 10 seconds it is sending bigipServiceDown and this sequence is continous.

Is there any possibility of avoiding flapping alarm based on time or any other ways.

Please advise.

You can apply suppression or rate correlation to any kind of trap or event.

Re: Flapping alarms in NNMi

Dear

Supression is used to suppress the incident and I am not sure whether rate-correlation will work.

Re: Flapping alarms in NNMi

We need to reduce number of alarms shown in console and stored in database.
