HP NNMi 10 - delete node group

Hi all,

 

I am using HP NNMi10 for windows. I tried to delete "Neighbor Connections Filter" node group. What is happening when I deleting this group?

Hello Mr quynhta,

 

Thank you for your nice question.

 

As far as I understand, there will be no impact when you delete the built-in Node Group "Neighbor Connections Filter".

For the best practise, please run nnmbackup.ovpl ( -type config) before any modification to make sure the security.

In the future, you could recreate this Node Group if need.

 

I just wonder about the reason on what you want to delete this group.

Normally, if there is no special requirement, please consider persist the default set-up of producer.

Its strictly window dressing, if you're not deleting the contents it has zero impact.
